Bellatrix.

Bellatrix frowned and started to close the door hastily when she realized she had opened the wrong one. "Uh, sorry." She mumbled, her gaze sweeping toward the floor. "No, wait." A slightly nasally voice stopped her. She glanced back up at the girl in the bed. She had a small tube running from a bag through her nose. "Hi." She said softly, straightening in the bed. "Um, hi. Sorry, I picked the wrong room, I guess. I was walking through the halls. Mine's next door. Sorry." "It's fine. Stay. I want the company." "I... don't even know you." "That's okay. I don't mind." Bellatrix made her way over to the bed and sat in the chair. "Um. So." The girl in the bed smiled. "I'm Luna." "Oh. Hi. My name is Bellatrix." "That's so pretty!" "Thanks. Uh, so is yours." Luna looked at her hands on the blanket. "So what are you in here for?" "They found me in my old house." Luna tilted her head. "My parents left a long time ago. I don't really know where they went. I guess someone realized it. We ran out of food and I've been taking from the neighbors' trash..." She looked down, embarrassed. Luna stared at her. "Oh." She whispered. "What are you here for?" Bellatrix mumbled quickly, her face hot. "I don't think I can tell you now." "Why not?" "I don't like to eat so they keep me here so they can make me." Bellatrix raised an eyebrow. "You don't like to eat?" "No. It makes me fat." "Oh..." She didn't bother to tell her she wasn't fat. Luna nodded. "Yeah." Bellatrix shivered slightly and pulled her sweatshirt sleeves further over her hands. Luna blinked. "Are you cold?" She shrugged. "Kind of." "You can get in." Bellatrix blinked. "I... don't even know you." "What would I do to you and why? Get in. You're cold and I'm lonely." Bellatrix finally shrugged and slid in the bed next to her new acquaintance.

Bellatrix frowned at the light that poured through her eyelids. A pretty dark haired doctor stood over her. She sat up slowly. "What are you doing here?" She looked around and stood up. "Sorry, I... I came in the wrong room last night and she asked me to stay with her..." Luna stirred. The doctor noticed Bellatrix's bracelet below her sweatshirt sleeve. It was far too small, and the girl shivered. "Are you a patient here?" She nodded. "They found me in my old house. My parents left me. They brought me here because I have hypothermia and frostbite in my toes and I'm malnourished." The doctor frowned and her face softened. "Oh. Well. I'm Blanche. Uh, your... parents left you?" She nodded. "Two years ago. I kept thinking they'd come for me but..." She shakes her head. "Never mind. Sorry. I'll go back now." "No, wait..." Blanche pressed her lips together. "Would you... want to have parents again?" "I don't know. Maybe. If they were better than my last ones." Blanche swallowed. "What would you think about meeting my husband and kids? And if you like us... I want to adopt you." "You don't even know me." "I could though. And you could have a family again." Bellatrix half smiled. "Really?" "Yeah. Come on. Let's go find you some warm clothes."

Reyna slowly sat up, touching her forehead gingerly. She gripped at the air as the room spun wildly. Someone hurried past her, and she pushed herself to her feet. "Daddy?" She looked around slowly. "Daddy. Where are you?" There was no reply. The room continued to rotate and she grabbed a nearby counter. Someone pushed her away with an eye roll. She shivered then, and noticed she was naked. Where had her clothes gone? She frowned and picked up a bra, turning it over in her hands. Yes, this was hers. She pulled it halfway on and continued to stumble through the confusion. Music pounded in her head, muffled by her state. Colors flashed bright and offensive. She squinted. "Daddy?" She pushed a random guy away as he groped at her breast. He scowled. "I would call you a prude but obviously you're not." He shoved her slightly, as a show of irritation, but in her weak haze, she fell back to the floor. She curled up in a ball, then rolled to her hands and knees. She wretched for a few minutes before crawling away from the puddle of alcohol and bile she had forced from her angry stomach. She wrapped her fingers around a cool metal pole and pulled herself into a standing position. She blinked at the faint sound of a few cheers. "Go on, show them what you've got." She looked around frantically, recognizing her father's voice. "Daddy!" He laughed at her. "Go on, Reyna." She looked at the pole in front of her and frowned. "Daddy... I don't feel good. I want to go home." "Shut up. Just get on the pole." She felt her lip tremble and looked around again as the crowd began to boo. "Daddy. I just want to go home. Please. I want to... go... go home." "Stop complaining and do what I brought you here to do." She slowly wrapped a leg around the pole as tears formed rivulets down her cheeks. She rubbed against it and continued a small routine as her audience cheered. She stared at her dad sadly. Why wouldn't he take her home?
